釀酒廠被政府控制下成為半國營，1972年時被強行徵用。
1990年，Einsiedler始以「有限責任公司﹙GmbH﹚」之現代化形式經營。

The final round of the 10th European Football Championship was held from 8th to 30th June 1996 in England. The Vice European Champion of 1992, Germany, won the final at the London Wembley Stadium against the Czech Republic by the first Golden Goal of the men of Oliver Bierhoff in the 95th minute.

The Einsiedler Brauhaus was founded on 29th August 1885 by the machine manufacturer Emil Schwalbe as a private brewery in Chemnitz-Einsiedel. After the Second World War, the brewery was forced into semi-state-owned until 1961, and in 1972 it was forcibly expropriated. Since 1990 the Einsiedler Brauhaus became a GmbH (GmbH, “A Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung” is a type of legal entity very common in Germany).

Das Einsiedler Brauhaus wurde am 29. August 1885 durch den Maschinenfabrikanten Emil Schwalbe als Privatbrauerei in Chemnitz-Einsiedel gegründet. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg erfolgte eine Zwangsverwaltung, bis 1961 halbstaatlich, und 1972 wurde sie zwangsenteignet. Seit 1990 ist das Einsiedler Brauhaus eine GmbH.
